The follow-up to The Viper Story, Part I: F-16s of the Air National Guard, this book continues the story of the F-16 in USAF service. This second volume in the series examines the F-16 units that use the type in test and training missions, using nearly 400 full-color images spread over 188 pages, with a printed hard-cover binding.

Training units featured in this book include the 56th Fighter Wing, Luke AFB, AZ; USAF Weapons School, Nellis AFB, NV; 149th Fighter Wing, Kelly AFB, TX; 162nd Fighter Wing, Tucson, AZ; 178th Fighter Wing, Springfield, OH; and the famous Aggressor units at Nellis AFB and Eielson AFB, AK. A bonus unit featured is the Adversary squadron with NSAWC at NAS Fallon.

Test units featured include the 46th Test Wing, Eglin AFB, FL; 53rd Test & Evaluation Group, Eglin AFB, FL; 412th Test Wing, Edwards AFB, CA; and the Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC), Tucson, AZ.
