A Diorama Just Waiting to be Made!
Delivered to Imperial Japanese Army air units from April 1944, towards the end of the war in the Pacific, the Hayate was largely used in the interceptor role, taking on B-29 bombers and carrier-based attackers. U.S. evaluation of the Hayate after WWII was also very positive. The Type 95 Kurogane, meanwhile, is said to be the world's first practical 4WD vehicle, and was a 3-seater was manufactured for military use from 1937, powered by a 1,400cc air-cooled engine that produced 33hp. The front wheels employed independent suspension, while the rear was a leaf-sprung setup. All told, around 4,800 were manufactured between 1935 and 1944, and they served the Japanese military through China, South-East Asia and in various areas in the conflict throughout the Pacific.
Both of these subjects are recreated with accuracy and efficiency, making them an ideal choice for beginners and veterans alike. Also included are a handy base to make your own diorama on, plus a sheet which realistically depicts a grassy surface.

About the Model
Hayate fuselage length: 205mm, Kurogane length: 75mm, Base dimensions: 300mm x160mm.
The sleek, elegant form of the Hayate is recreated with accuracy. The canopy can be assembled open or closed, while 4 marking options are also included.
Rounded and compact, the Kurogane is rendered in 1/48 scale with aplomb. It can be assembled with open or closed soft-top. The star mark on the front grille is recreated using a metal transfer.
Comes with 2 figures for the Hayate, and 1 for the Kurogane.
Includes diorama scenery sheet which depicts a grassy surface. It is pre-cut to the correct size for the base.
