Gunfighter Phantoms Part II (48-030) also cover 11 1/48 F-4 C/Ds of the 35th and 366th Tactical Fighter Wings while based at Da Nang Airbase between 1967-1968. Sized for the Academy kit; enough stencils and data are included to build two complete models. Additionally, 2 sets of markings for the SUU-23/A gun pod are included. Here's a rundown of the Phantoms that are covered: F-4C 63-7500 "BB" 366th TFW, 390th TFS, 1967. Features "The Blue Max" nose art and blue fuselage bands designating it as 390th CO Colonel "Boots" Blesse's aircraft. F-4D 66-7646 "AH" 366th TFW, 389th TFS, 1968. Features "The Toot" nose art and a red fuselage band designating it as the 389th Commander's aircraft. F-4D 66-8773 "CM" 366th TFW, 480th TFS, 1968. Features "The Silencer" nose art. F-4D 66-8805 "BT" 366th TFW, 390th TFS, 1968. Features "William Lee" nose art. F-4D 66-7809 "CR" 366th TFW, 480th TFS, 1968. Features "Louise" nose art. F-4C 64-0803 "BQ" 366th TFW, 390th TFS, 1967.
